He has been building secure service-based integration architectures as a developer, architect, consultant, product manager, strategist, evangelist, and author for the last twenty years, and resides in San Diego with his wife and two daughters.

Jay is an Enterprise Technology Strategist with the Broadcom Layer7 API Management product family. In his 17 years in the API Management space, starting as the 7th employee of the Layer7 startup, he has been heavily involved in leading our product direction. As a Lead developer, development manager & director and chief architect, product management, and technology strategist, he has been helping leading edge companies with our products as the world of APIs evolved from SOA through REST and on to Microservices, mesh networking and beyond.

Aric is based in Minneapolis, MN and has been managing Enterprise API programs for more than 10 years as both an operations sysadmin and an api security consultant designing api integration standards. He currently serves Layer7 North American core accounts within the central and western regions. In previous roles he has worked as an automation and api security consultant with both Accenture and Best Buy. Aric has an engineering degree from the University of Minnesota. He is active as a youth hockey coach in winter and enjoys getting outdoors during the brief MN summer months.
